Herodotus' Histories to tackle creative non-fictio

We will be reading excerpts from the classics; however, if you ever wanted an excuse to read, say, The Odyessy, in its entirety, or all of Sappho’s wondrous fragments, now is your chance.

ADAPTATION - PROSE TO SCREENPLAY

Learn how to adapt short stories, novels, or CNF into a screenplay.
Get informed about rights and the public domain.
Practice the fundamentals of formatting, beat sheets, bibles, act structure & more
Write at least one complete short script or 10-page scene adapted from prose.

Each student will also choose an adapation and lead a discussion about the good and the bad and what we can learn from both.
